Astro Secures 19 National Winner Awards at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2026
Astro secured 19 National Winner awards across 19 categories at the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) 2026, earning recognition for its excellence across drama, film, entertainment, factual programming, music and branded content.
Among the notable winners was Astro Shaw’s drama series Good Boys Go to Heaven, which received a total of five awards, including Best Drama Series, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Cinematography (Fiction), Best Editing, and Best Screenplay. Meanwhile, film Malam Terlarang won four awards, including Best Feature Film, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Direction (Feature Film), and Best Promo or Trailer.
The awards span a range of content genres and formats, reflecting the breadth of Astro’s content ecosystem and its continued focus on developing local stories and creative talent.
