Standing out among 10 finalists from leading organisations across Malaysia, this recognition reflects Astro's continued commitment to fostering a strong culture of learning, growth and development.

Organised by Human Resources Online, the Employee Experience Awards is one of Asia’s most prestigious and peer-reviewed HR awards programmes. It celebrates organisations that are setting new benchmarks in employee experience across four key pillars: leadership, learning, engagement and talent acquisition. To be recognised on this regional stage is a meaningful testament to Astro’s dedication to empowering our people.

The Best Learning and Development Programme category honours organisations that design impactful L&D strategies to support both talent and business growth. It recognises excellence in blended learning, adoption of learning technologies and initiatives that enhance workforce productivity while building critical skills.

Astro sustained its leadership position in the top 1% of global media companies with a 4.1 out of 5 score in the December 2025 FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index assessment by FTSE Russell. Further reinforcing its ESG excellence, Astro was recognised as a 2‑Star Lister in the ESG Select List 2025 by the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB), under the categories of ESG Breakthrough Innovation and Purposeful Partnership. This recognition underscores Astro’s steadfast commitment to robust corporate governance, ethical business conduct, and the integration of sustainability principles across our operations. It reflects the Group’s ongoing efforts to enhance transparency, accountability, and long-term valuecreation for all stakeholders.

Being listed among the Top 50 positions Astro alongside Malaysia’s leading organisations in governance and sustainability excellence,reinforcing the Group’s commitment to responsible business practices andsustainable growth.

The NACGSA assessment methodology endorsed by the CorporateGovernance Council chaired by the Securities Commission Malaysia draws uponinternationally recognised frameworks, including the ASEAN Corporate GovernanceScorecard, the G20/OECD Corporate Governance Principles, the Malaysian Code onCorporate Governance (MCCG), as well as sustainability criteria aligned with BursaMalaysia’s Sustainability Reporting Framework.

Astro Arena was honoured with the Anugerah Inspirasi MADANI, a special recognition presented during the Hari Harta Intelek Negara 2026 (HHIN 2026) event.

The award recognises Astro Arena’s role in shaping Malaysia’s sports ecosystem through the creation, development, and amplification of sports content as valuable intellectual property. As the sports industry continues to evolve beyond on-field performance, Astro Arena has played a key role in transforming sporting moments into enduring content that strengthens connections between sports, fans, and commercial partners.

Since its launch in 2010, Astro Arena has been committed to advancing Malaysian sports through sustained investment in local content, from consistent coverage of Malaysia’s most popular football leagues to the development of recognisable sports IPs such as the Sepak Takraw League (STL) and Netball Super League (NSL). Beyond live broadcasts, it deepens fan engagement through original programming and digital-first content, elevating local athletes, extending relevance beyond match day, and creating broader growth and commercial opportunities for the sports ecosystem. Astro Arena’s commitment also extends on-ground through sports clinics and school-based programmes—such as Astro Kem Badminton, Klinik STL and Klinik NSL—reflecting a long-term investment in nurturing young talent and strengthening youth sports development at the grassroots nationwide.

Congratulations to all Astro colleagues on the remarkable achievements at the Anugerah SAM-100PLUS 2025, where several Astro Arena personalities and representatives were recognised across their respective categories.

‍Muhammad Rizal Hashim, who also serves as a Producer at Stadium Astro, stood out as the recipient of the Anugerah Siebel, the highest and most prestigious recognition of the ceremony. He also secured a win in the Laporan Khas Terbaik (Terbuka) category on the Stadium Astro platform with his report titled “Bagaimana Seorang Pemegang Pasport British Menyarung Jersi Harimau Malaya.” This recognition underscores Astro Arena’s commitment to delivering high-quality, in-depth, and impactful sports content to its audiences.

‍Fina Nasrom was honoured with the Anugerah Laporan Berita Terbaik Media Elektronik for her report titled “Nakhoda Sebuah Perlumbaan.” This achievement further reinforces her reputation as one of the nation’s leading female sports journalists. Notably, Fina had previously attained similar distinction as a recipient of the Anugerah Siebel last year.

At the same time, Izwan Mohd Nor received the Pengulas Sukan Popular award for his commentary of the 2026 Keirin World Cup Final, which recently gained widespread traction among local sports fans. His credibility, depth of knowledge, and dynamic delivery continue to position Izwan as a preferred choice among viewers.
