‘Aattam Returns’, an Astro signature Tamil dance competition now open for auditions
Astro proudly presents the return of its signature local Tamil dance competition, Aattam Returns, offering talented local dancers a platform to showcase their talents and gain recognition. Aspiring local dance teams can participate in auditions which are now open from 20 May until 15 June 2021. Eligible teams consisting of six participants aged 18 to 40 can submit their dance videos via digital platform Astro Ulagam.

Upload an unedited video of the group performing, meeting stipulated terms and conditions which can be found on the Astro Ulagam website.
25 teams will be shortlisted from this audition, following which, a second round of auditions will be held. During the second audition, the shortlisted teams will perform before a panel of three judges who will then narrow the teams down to the top 14.
Subsequently, these shortlisted 14 teams will undergo intense dance battles over several elimination rounds in the competition.
Winning teams will take home cash prizes: the Champion with RM60,000, First Runner-Up with RM30,000 and three consolation prizes with RM12,000 each.
