Aspiring Malaysian rappers invited to audition for ‘Rap Porkalam Season 2’
Aspiring Malaysian rappers can audition for Season 2 of ‘Rap Porkalam’, Malaysia’s first Tamil rap competition, from now until 16 April 2021 on the Astro Ulagam website.
To audition, contestants can follow these simple steps:
Fill in their details and submit required identification.
Upload a 1-minute unedited video of them rapping in Tamil.
20 contestants will be shortlisted from the audition and will subsequently undergo intense rap battles over several elimination rounds.
‘Rap Porkalam Season 2’ will be hosted by popular local rapper, Emcee Jesz, and will feature award-winning Tamil rap local legend, Yogi B, and popular local composer, Navin Navigator as judges.
During the competition, shortlisted participants will be mentored by local rappers, Saint TFC and Sheezay.
The winner of ‘Rap Porkalam Season 2’ will take home a cash prize of RM20,000.
