Astro is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of its most watched local Tamil series Pasanga for a second season on 12 August, 9pm on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202) via TV, Astro GO, On Demand and sooka. Season 2 of Astro’s Pasanga is Malaysia’s first local Tamil series with 100 episodes directed by award-winning director, Shalini Balasundaram and produced by the esteemed husband-wife duo, Denes Kumar and Ts. Dr. Vimala Perumal.

Pasanga Season 2, the comedy-drama series depicts the lives of the trio, Raja, Jaga, and Anand that shatter into harsh reality. Raja's life takes a tumultuous turn when his parents become the target of a malicious individual, Kumar. He is forced to leave Kuala Lumpur and return to his hometown accompanied by Vithya, his sister who grapples with the haunting memories of her traumatic past. Upon returning to his hometown, Raja falls into a web of challenges orchestrated by Thirupathi, Kumar, and Kathir. On the other hand, Jaga, a filmmaker, endeavors to work on his projects while nurturing feelings for Reshma. Meanwhile, Geetha's close bond with her former friend ignites tension in Anand and Geetha's marital relationship. As the series unfolds, relationships are tested, financial woes mount, and characters confront their inner demons paving the way for a compelling and engaging plot that will surely captivate the fans.
