Astro Delivers Malaysia’s Most Comprehensive Live Coverage of the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026

Follow Malaysian athletes in action and catch more of the games live across 7 channels

KUALA LUMPUR, 7 September 2026 – Astro today announced extensive coverage of the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, bringing Malaysians the most comprehensive viewing experiences for Asia's biggest sporting event. From 19 September to 4 October 2026, Astro, NJOI and Sooka customers can enjoy up to 13 hours of daily coverage across seven Astro sports channels, including five dedicated Asian Games channels, ASG1 to ASG5 (CH 795-799), alongside Astro Arena (CH 801) and Stadium Astro (CH 802). Astro customers can also stream the action live on Astro GO. Featuring live events, medal contests and key moments throughout the games, Astro’s coverage will bring viewers closer to Team Malaysia and Asia’s top athletes every step of the competition.

Several sports are expected to be among the country's strongest medal prospects at Aichi-Nagoya 2026. Sepak takraw, riding on recent success on the world stage, will be among the key events to watch, while squash will feature defending champions S. Sivasangari and Ng Eain Yow. Badminton and track cycling are also among the most anticipated events, with Datuk Azizulhasni Awang expected to be among the athletes attracting significant attention as Malaysia pursues podium finishes.

The special programme Pentas Tumpuan will keep viewers updated on the latest developments from the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 and Team Malaysia’s medal prospects, featuring insights from former national athletes and sports experts.
