Yang Berhormat Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister of Communications, said, “Deepavali is a festival that reminds us of the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over misconception, and unity over division. This year’s Deepavali celebration is especially meaningful for us in the Ministry of Communications. For the very first time, RTM and Astro have joined hands in an unprecedented collaboration to co-produce a grand Deepavali concert, Titikkum Deepavali Kondattam 2025. Additionally, our two Tamil Radio Stations, Raaga and MINNALfm’s radio announcers shared the stage side by side. I want to commend both RTM and Astro for their vision and extend my deepest appreciation to the artists, crew and organisers. I am confident that this will stand as a proud milestone for our broadcasting industry. Wishing everyone a joyful, bright, and meaningful Deepavali.”

Prem Anand, Vice President, Indian Customer Business, Astro, said, “This Deepavali is especially meaningful as we mark a historic milestone with RTM through our debut collaboration on Titikkum Deepavali Kondattam 2025. This initiative expands the reach of Deepavali programming to all Malaysians, fostering unity through shared cultural experiences. We’re proud to offer a vibrant mix of local and international entertainment across our platform, and to reinforce our ESG commitment by partnering with Nestlé, Fernleaf, and Agenda Suria Communication to support the community — including an attempt to set a new Malaysia Book of Records. Thank you to our customers for your continued support, and Happy Deepavali to all celebrating.”
