Since launched in 2012, Astro Kem Badminton aims to discover, train and nurture young shuttlers to become the next champions. Children of ages 10 to 12 years old are given the golden chance to be trained by professional coaches who are former Malaysia’s national players, which include Chan Chong Ming and Chew Choon Eng.
Astro Kasih continues its commitment to championing education through sports by organising Astro Kem Badminton 2022’s Selection Camps at five states including Johor Bahru, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Sabah and Sarawak, in search for future badminton players that could make Malaysia proud.
Last week’s Selection Camp in Johor has attracted 231 participants. Currently, with over 400 participants registered for Penang’s Selection Camp, Astro is excited for the upcoming camp on Saturday, 2nd July.
