Astro Sweeps 16 Awards at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024

KUALA LUMPUR, 30 September – Astro, Malaysia’s leading content and entertainment company is honoured to announce that it has been recognized with 16 awards at the prestigious Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024. Among the coveted accolades, Astro clinched top honours for Best Drama Series with Hermaphrodite: Che Kun Che Nisa, Best General Entertainment Programme with All Stars Gegar Vaganza, Best News / Current Affairs Programme with Prime Talk and Best Actor in A Leading Role with Naim Daniel in I.D.

Astro has won the most awards at the Malaysian national level with 16 awards across 41 categories this year and is in fifth place overall. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented team, and we are humbled to be acknowledged by our peers in the industry. Astro will now represent Malaysia in these categories, competing against 16 other nations in the Asia-Pacific region. The stage is set for the Grand Awards and Gala Final where Astro will vie for the prestigious AAA golden trophies in Singapore on 3 and 4 December 2024.
