Held at the prestigious PETRONAS Philharmonic Hall in the heart of Kuala Lumpur on Monday, October 14, the moment marked not just an award but a recognition of Astro’s journey—a journey of innovation, resilience, and the undaunting pursuit of excellence in the media world.

As the company expands its digital and streaming platforms—most notably through sooka, its home-grown OTT service— which saw significant growth in the second quarter ofFY25, with monthly active users up 60% to 1.3 million and VIP paying customers more than doubling.
Astro also remains committed to local content production, ensuring that Malaysian voices, stories,and talent are celebrated both at home and abroad. The numbers speak for themselves: 74% of Malaysia’s box office collections this year came from Astro’s productions, affirming its role as a cultural force in the country.
