Astro customers can look forward to the first local Tamil cooking show Semmaiyaana Saapaadu, featuring mother and daughters as hosts and cooks. This cooking show which showcases a variety of appetizing and authentic traditional village-style recipes cooked by Sai Kogila, a renowned local talent alongside her daughters, Nawinia Murali, Lishalini Murali as well as her twin daughters, Jaswind Murali and Roswind Murali will premiere on 15 March, 9pm on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202) via TV, Astro GO and On Demand.
Semmaiyaana Saapaadu, which is directed by well-known local director M.S. Prem Nath will showcase diverse delectable and nutritious traditional village-style dishes that will be cooked using traditional cooking utensils, drawing in viewers who won't want to miss a single episode. Taking pride as the first local Tamil cooking show offering a sumptuous meal to a group of invited guests such as the cast and crew from ‘Pasanga’, ‘Oru Kadha Sollattaa Sir’, Astro Seithigal, Tamilan Lion Dancers and more, this captivating show also features the debuted hosts such as Manisha Tankawilu, Suganthi and Pavitra cementing Astro’s continuous effort in providing a valuable platform for local talents to showcase their skills while transforming their dreams into reality.
