Political talk show ‘Therthal Kalam’ and crime documentary ‘Kuri II’

Astro customers can look forward to the premiere of political talk show, Therthal Kalam and highly anticipated season 2 of crime documentary, Kuri II on 7 and 11 November respectively, via TV, Astro GO and On Demand.

Therthal Kalam will be hosted by local talents, Thiaga Rajan Muthusamy and Vethakumari Vengiteson, and will shed light on constituencies’ demographics, background of current and former members of parliament, public opinions and current political scenarios and more. This 11-episode show will feature various guests including political analysts, Dr. G. Manimaran and Dr. Saraswathy Chinnasamy; political commentators, Datuk Anbumani Balu and Balan Moses; and more. Therthal Kalam premieres on 7 November, 9pm on Astro Vaanavil (Ch 201) with new episodes available every Monday to Sunday.

In addition, customers can also look forward to Kuri II, directed by local filmmaker, Lourdes Gason Paul and featuring debutant local host, Haridhass. This 13-episode series is based on true events and will explore wide range of crimes that took place in Malaysia, including gangsterism, terrorist grooming, murder, sexual crimes, paedophiles, crimes using spells and black magic, domestic slavery and more. Kuri II premieres on 11 November, 8pm on Astro Vaanavil (Ch 201) with new episodes available every Friday.
