Astro customers can enjoy more local and international Pongal specials premiering on TV, Astro GO and On Demand.
Local premieres this Pongal include:
- Romance drama telemovie, Anbirkum Undo Adaikkum Thaazh, directed by S. Mathan, starring Manogaren Suparmaniam and Vidia Liana, premiering on Astro Vaanavil HD (CH 201), on 14 January, 9pm.
- Game show, Kurumbu Ponggal, featuring local celebrity couples: Saint and Anjali, Thevaguru and Rathi Vishali, Shastan and Karishma, as well as Kesavan and Pashini. Hosted by Ahila Shanmugam and Irfan Zaini and directed by renowned filmmaker Dev Rajah, this game show also showcases Pongal celebrations for these celebrity guests.
