HITZ LOKALAH Live Brings Malaysian English Music To Centre Stage
PETALING JAYA, 9 October 2026 – Reinforcing its commitment to championing and celebrating homegrown talent, HITZ brought together music fans and some of Malaysia's most exciting English music acts through HITZ LOKALah Live, a celebration of the country's growing local English music scene.
Held at JAM PJ in Petaling Jaya, the event attracted more than 500 attendees who came together to experience an evening of live music and local talent. The line-up featured performances by Disagree, DOLLA, Insomniacks and Passenger Seat, while HITZ Official DJ, DJ DEF, set the tone for the evening with an energetic mix of local and international hits.
Created to spotlight Malaysian English artists and strengthen connections between musicians and their audiences, HITZ LOKALah Live provided fans with the opportunity to experience their favourite local acts up close while discovering new local talent. The event also reinforced HITZ’s ongoing efforts to support and elevate Malaysian English music both on-air and on-ground.
