This festive season, Astro premieres a local Tamil family drama telemovie, A Wish Made by Old Reddolf. All Astro customers can enjoy this special telemovie premiering on 25 December, 9.30pm on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202) via TV, Astro GO and On Demand.
A Wish Made by Old Reddolf features an ensemble cast of local artistes including KS Maniam, Puvaindraah Anandaraman, Parvin Nair Surendran, Chandni Nagadurga, Devakanni and more. This family drama telemovie touches on Reddolf, a 60-year-old man who yearns to reunite with his family and celebrate Christmas with them after many years. Reddolf, is separated from his family and lives on his own in a huge and luxurious bungalow. He yearns to reunite with his wife and three children - Marc, Steven, and Christine, however, time doesn’t permit. After 20 long years, his daughter, Christine visits and informs him of the demise of his beloved wife. Reddolf who wishes to celebrate Christmas with his children plans a trick and wisely executes it with the hopes that his children would not find out. As per his wish, his children reunite and are actively involved in the festive preparation. However, things take a turn when the truth has been discovered by his children.
