Stand a chance to win a RM10,000 cash prize and produce a telemovie
All Malaysians are invited to participate in the Ulagam Short Film Contest from now till 31 July 2022 for a chance to take home cash prizes and the opportunity to produce a telemovie.
To participate, contestants need to:
- Create an original 20-minute Deepavali themed short film and film poster, in any Indian language.
- Complete the contest entry form and submit their short film and poster via astroulagam.com.my/shortfilmcontest.
Winners of the competition will be selected based on originality, creativity, acting, cinematography, editing, script and screenplay by a panel of judges, and will take home the following prizes:
- A cash prize of RM10,000 and an opportunity to produce a telemovie which will premiere on Astro for the first place winner.
- A cash prize of RM8,000 for the second place winner.
- A cash prize of RM6,000 for the third place winner.
- Cash prizes of RM3,000 each for seven consolation winners.
