Aattam, Astro’s signature local Tamil reality dance competition witnessed the top 10 teams that advanced to its next round themed ‘Love’ after a stiff battle among the 11 contesting teams in the fifth and sixth episodes.
Themed ‘Thalapathy’, the fifth and sixth episodes premiered on 21 and 22 December 2024, 9pm on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202) via TV, Astro GO, On Demand and sooka.
The top 10 teams as below:
Judges scored 60%, with team leaders awarding the remaining 40% of the marks for each team.
Sivagamavalli, local dancer with extensive experience in Bharatanatyam, Odissi, and Ballet, who has performed in India, United States, Russia, Cambodia, Middle East, and Europe was invited as a guest judge.
Meanwhile, Rameshwara, a Singaporean dancer, choreographer, actor, director and one of the winners of Aattam 100 Vagai Season 3 embraced the judging role alongside two other local judges - MJ Nada, prominent dancer, choreographer, and actor; and Aruna, host, classical dancer, co-founder of a dance school and former Aattam 100 Vagai’s host.
Aattam winners will take home exciting cash prizes as listed below:
o Champion: RM50,000;
o First runner up: RM25,000;
o Third and fourth places: RM5,000 each; and
o Fifth and sixth places: RM2,000 each
