France, April 9, 2018: Variety, leading international publisher today awarded Dato’ Rohana Rozhan, Astro’s Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director with the 2018 Variety Achievement in International TV Award, in recognition of her leadership and achievements in the global media and entertainment industry.
Variety’s International Editor, Henry Chu together with Jérôme Delhaye, Director of Reed MIDEM’s Entertainment Division, presented the award to Dato’ Rohana Rozhan in conjunction with the annual MipTV conference in Cannes, France on 9 April 2018, making her the first in Asia to be awarded.
Previous winners include Gilles Pelisson, CEO of TF1 in France and, Jeremy Darroch, Group CEO of Sky in the UK.
