Haqqa joined Astro in November 2023 and currently serves as the Head of Strategy, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations, responsible for leading the Group's strategic direction, managing key corporate finance initiatives, and building relationships with the investment community.

An ICAEW Chartered Accountant, Haqqa brings over a decade’s expertise in strategic planning, finance, and business development across diverse sectors. Prior to joining our Group, he was a Consultant at Bain & Company where he advised clients on complex strategic challenges. This follows earlier strategy and finance roles at UEM Edgenta Berhad and AEON Co. (M) Berhad, gaining valuable operational and financial experience. He started his career as an accountant and wealth advisor in London, advising high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs.

Haqqa holds an MBA from Asia School of Business in collaboration with MIT Sloan and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Warwick.
