sooka debuts Hari Raya commercial to remind viewers about what really matters

Kuala Lumpur, 28 April 2022 – sooka, the go-to app for the best Malay dramas and local entertainment, live sports actions, and original series have launched its first Hari Raya commercial, to remind Malaysians on what truly matters during this festive season.

Titled Krisis Social Media Anis, the commercial revolves around a social media follower-obsessed family who calls each other by the number of their followers. The problem arises when the main character, Anis, started to lose followers, causing her household to fall into chaos. Determined to solve the issue, the family bonds together to work towards Anis’ goal of getting more followers.

Emarina Kamal, Head Of Programming, sooka, said: “The commercial communicates an everyday occurrence that we often see during this digital age. We often lose touch with the ones closest to us – that is our family and loved ones – because we are too occupied with our personal interests. With Hari Raya drawing close, our first-ever sooka commercial will make an excellent reminder to all Malaysians about the bond they share and the quality time they can spend together.”
